  • Parking was an issue for the number of membership spots that was a challenge for several years after the City of St Johns stopped policing it but within 30 days we secured an agreement with the Provincial Govt and a Ticketing Company out of B.C and an electronic log of member license plates number was formed as well as a log of non members to be able to use the parking spots from an hour to a year
  • Employees were no longer paid 'under the table' and each employee was registered for source deducted and proper TD-1 registration as is required by the Federal Government – CRA
  • HST and Payroll Source Deduction arrears were paid in full and remained current up to my resignation date, saving a lot in Interest and Penalties
  • A proper purchase journal was created for all venders allowing for a 'by-the-ounce proper costing for all supplies
  • A fully licensed Point- Of- Sale system was installed with all staff being trained properly to finally have accurate sales record and inventory controls put in place, realizing and immediate 16 percent revenue increase and the identification of problematic past practises
  • A regulated deposit process for all monies was initiated removing the past practise of collection and retention of thousands of dollars more than what was operationally required for all floats, instead of being deposited into the proper operating accounts
  • A proper Electronic Banking System was installed by Chase Moneris​ for the collection All function and fundraising revenue for a payment option for folks that wished to pay electronically with a surcharge amount to match any automatic significant charges from any credit card company
  • I researched, compiled and proposed a Respectful Workplace and Anti-Harassment Policy for the Organization focusing on their own Constitution Item 12 - 'Respect for Everyone Opinion, Color Rave, Creed, Sexual Preference and/or Identity' and al Provincial Labour Legislation
  • I formulated All Information Packages for Weddings, Special Events, Business Meetings, Lunch Special, Restaurant offering Menus, Funeral Receptions and Baby/Wedding and Gender Reveal Events, copies of which can be provided if needed
  • Even though I am not a Certified Charter Accountant, I updated all necessary Files, Accounts and Compliance Documents, from previously poor filing system for the accountant to have the previous 5 years of Cooperate Taxes Completed and reported to the Federal Government
