Work history

Lead Hand

Status Electrical
Burnaby Hospital Upgrade, Burnaby, British Columbia

Initially worked on the Installation of Pipes for Risers, learned how to use Mechanical Benders for EMT up to and including 4 inch. After a few weeks I was made Lead Hand of a Crew who's responsibility was to install Lighting, Power for Sockets, Data Points, Public Address and Security Systems. As a Lead Hand I enhanced worker productivity by setting clear expectations and providing guidance when needed, conducted daily briefings to keep team informed about project progress. After getting the Scope of Works, I was able to prioritise the workload effectively, whilst managing multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of projects. I also had to Co-ordinated with other Departments, and Trades for smooth operations.

I also had to participate in weekly meetings, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvements.
