I majored in electrical over the course of the past two years, I have now gotten some basics experience and slight knowledge of EMT and the residential side of it. I already have obtained the schooling for a level one by doing this course. I can navigate the code book at a basic level and have learned the following such as small box fill, conduit fill, ampacity, house calculations, the different types of pulls like straight through the box, U-pulls, angle pulls, and back of the box. I have a basic knowledge for these topics. To add to this I can also explain how to do different bends using EMT, from 10 degree offsets to 4 point and 3 point saddles with, 45,30,22.5 degree raised offsets.

While working this job I got experience using, jack hammers, impacts, drills etc. And acquired a better skill set in using various hand tools. Everyday I had to clean up my workspace as-well as others workspaces and the rest of the job site, each day I was required to unload the materials or tools I'd be using and whatever else was needed plus packing it up and putting it all back at the end of the shift. With time I got faster and didn't require to have a more experienced worker stay around me instead they would tell me what to do and I would ask questions along the way.
