Job Duties:

Lots of pre-logging work. Setting up safe boundaries so logging machines/workers can operate safely while maximizing the percentage of good wood obtained. Map layout, both on drawing on physical maps and using a garmin/gps to record the layout. Identification of streams, bile burning in the winter time, which requires a snowmobile certificate. Training on how to safely strap down an an atv/snowmobile in the back of a work truck.
