Growing up as a woman of color and witnessing firsthand the challenges faced by children in underserved areas, particularly in countries like Lebanon where my family is from, opened my eyes to the importance of education in breaking cycles of poverty and inequality. It sparked a deep passion for education and social change. I firmly believe that every child deserves a teacher who not only imparts knowledge but also encourages, motivates, and provides hope for the future. The opportunity to work in Brazil resonates with me because of its rich cultural diversity and the educational disparities that many children face. I’m eager to contribute to positive change and learn from a different cultural perspective, while supporting children in reaching their full potential. Through my academic background, volunteer experiences, and passion for working with children, I am confident in my ability to make a meaningful contribution to this internship. I am excited about the opportunity to learn from diverse educational environments, especially in Brazil if given the opportunity, and to bring my creativity, empathy, and leadership skills to children in need of support and encouragement.
