Acting Experience

COLIBRI ET GRENADE

Student Film, Lead Role, 2023

I portrayed Grenade, a young woman who is facing challenges in seeking support while navigating the aftermath of sexual assault. During a photoshoot preparation, the film traces the girl's conversation about Grenade's self-perception, providing insights into her coping with a traumatic past. Symbolically, the film addresses shared experiences among women, highlighting the importance of acknowledging and seeking the support needed to cope with these challenges.

THE LIFE OF A SOLSTICE

Student Film, Lead Role, 2023

Inspired by a true story, this short film explores the theme of the cycle of life across seasons. It narrates the story of a woman who escaped Rockwood Asylum in Kingston during winter and was later discovered deceased by a young boy on World Island in the summer. While the woman's identity remains undisclosed, I portrayed the woman in the film.

THE HIBERNATION OF A FILMMAKER

Student Film, Secondary Lead Role, 2023

This short film follows a troubled filmmaker Harry, who meets an aspiring actress Delores and forms a bond for their shared love of cinema. Harry struggles with his perfectionism and unprocessed grief, while Delores provides her mentorship from a humanistic perspective. Harry wants his film to be political, but something is lacking. Hence, he "hibernates" to figure out what he needs in his film by facing his deepest insecurities. I portrayed Delores, the optimistic and caring aspiring actress.

DOUBLE TAKE

Queen's Television, Student film, Extra, 2023

After failing out of his summer research position, Caleb drifts through the possibilities for his future and must decide between following expectations or making the jump into a passion that is outside his family’s definition of success. I portrayed the role of Quincy, one of Caleb's supporting friends.
