During my time working for Foster Poultry farms, I was able to further my equipment with people of different ethnic backgrounds, labor-intensive tasks, harsh working conditions, and the use of pieces of equipment and machinery while complying with OSHA safety regulations. I would safely operate and lead shipments to trailers while reporting each shipment properly and efficiently. I was given training and received multiple certifications to be able to use such as a Pallet Jack, Forklift, and the authorization to interfere with machinery safely. I would work extensive hours such as twelve-hour shifts for six days of the week to make a combined seventy-two hours a week in freezing temperatures.This job has shown me many new characteristics that have helped me learn more about myself and others while working and has taught me great work habits.

My Job description was loss prevention. In addition, I was also tasked with sales expectations, recovery, customer service, and janitorial duties during my shifts. My position consisted of keeping a close eye on customers while multitasking while assisting customers with my area and making them feel welcome in the store. I would report missing merchandise to a system connected with all the BootBarns in the area and would conduct research on other stores' loss prevention reports. During my time in this occupation, I exceeded expectations for my position in sales in my zone which was the hats; I would recover any merchandise that was out of its area and clean up during closing shifts to ensure a clean environment for everyone. BootBarn has been helpful with connecting with new people and helping others as I was able to communicate with new people every day. I consider myself a patient person as I have dealt with some difficult customers, I understand that everyone has bad days and can be understanding of their situation.
