  • Ensure safety awareness prior to start of shift. By way of pre-shift team meetings and shift pass down meetings
  • Maintain the flow of the manufacturing line by cleaning and lite preventive maintenance such as cleaning filter pumps, pressure wash rollers, and forklift inspections.
  • Test quality of co-products to the fiber glass mat. Test white water viscosity, conductivity, & PH. Binder tests consist of conductivity and PH. Testing is done every 2 hours
  • Relieve the hydrofoamer and fiber feeder operators for all their breaks
  • Cross trainer other positions to help in times of need.
  • Perform end of shift house keeping such as washing down the manufacturing line, tank farm clean up, raking up fiber glass waste, and spills.
  • Daily inventor tracking of all chemical materials and replenish as necessary.
  • Participate in shut down activities such as lite preventive maintenance, deep cleaning, and assisting plant mechanics with special projects.
