Assistant District Superintendent for Mission

1. The Assistant District Superintendent for Mission, as an officer of the District, shall give oversight and support, under the leadership of the District Superintendent, to all aspects of District Ministries.

2. The Assistant District Superintendent for Mission shall perform service to the District in the areas of ministry services, leadership development and care.

3. The Assistant District Superintendent for Mission shall give oversight to areas of planning, implementation, and communications.

4. The Assistant District Superintendent for Mission shall perform such other functions as are customary, or as may be designated by the District Superintendent, Executive or Conference.

5. The Assistant District Superintendent for Mission shall preside at meetings of the District Executive in the absence of the Superintendent.

6. The Assistant District Superintendent for Mission shall work under the direction of and in harmony with the District Superintendent.

7. The Assistant District Superintendent for Mission shall give primary oversight to Seniors Ministry Committee, Men’s Ministry Committee, Ministry to Women Committee, Manhattan Beach Camp Committee, Northern Pentecostal Camp Committee, Chaplaincy Ministries Committee, Social Concerns Committee, Speaker’s Committee, Missions Committee and any other ministries that may be designated by the District Superintendent, District Executive or District Conference.
