  • Coordinated with internal departments, including Chief of Program and ADM (FIN), to ensure compliance with project governance and key gateway dates;
  • Briefed project status to senior leadership, including Director General, Commander Royal Canadian Navy and Assistant Deputy Minister level;
  • Contributed to preliminary and critical design reviews, for projects varying from Galley equipment to complex SONAR and Combat Management systems;
  • Conducted regular meetings with other government departments, including PSPC, ISED and DOJ to ensure project risks and concerns were addressed early and effectively.

Deputy Commander Canadian UN Small Missions

  • I/C of the Damage Control Team for incident responses onboard the submarine while at sea;
  • Responsible for complex D/C responses, receiving system briefs, prioritizing engineering systems and effecting system isolations and restorations to meet Command priorities;
  • Responsible to Command for financial management of the submarine operating budget.
