I had the opportunity to step away from typical work and focus on fixing up my family's log cabin and pasture land outside of Sundre, Ab. During my time there I completed and learned about many tasks such as:

• Snow plowing the 1km long driveway with tractor, skid steer, and side by side's
• Re surfacing gravel roads
• Replacing all types of flooring
• Replaced roofing shingles
• Cut down large perimeter fire barrier around cabin
• Installed and maintained plumbing and HVAC systems
• Replaced worn or broken parts on machines and equipment
• Performed preventive maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment

• Position as a boilermaker/fitter
• Responsible for maintenance and rebuilds of all storage tanks
• Experienced in building geodesic dome roofs for tanks
• Removal and installation of gas furnaces for maintaining product temperature
• Demolition of tanks and a butane sphere experience
• Work under air, blinding and de-blinding work environments
• Responsible to plan crane lifts and calculate estimated weights
• Loading and unloading trucks of equipment
• Job Steward for Boiler Union
• Contract for Syncrude

• Responsible for set up equipment and welded parts according to welding chart specifications and type.
• New construction of large diameter storage tanks
• Working with crane installing shell plate and internal structure
• Worked with automatic vertical seam welder
• Fit up vertical and horizontal seams, fit up nozzles
• Layout on tank floor and nozzle locations
• Finished 3rd year hours and received Journeyman ticket

• PSC (Primary Separation Cell) shutdown
• Responsible to set up tasks, piping blinding and bolt up

• New construction of large diameter storage tanks
• Worked with crane installing shell plate and internal structure
• Worked with automatic vertical seam welder
• Fit up vertical and horizontal seams, fit up nozzles

• Shutdown work, apprentice work (assisting with set up and removing exchanger bundles)
• Tasked with use of hytorqe and rad gun, bolt up
