For approximately 9 years, I have worked as a Senior Technician and Field Technician. As far as documentation, I created detailed reported and maintained accurate records of inspections, testing, and project progress. For collaboration, I worked closely with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure successful project outcomes. My broad experience and varied roles demonstrate a strong capability in managing and executing technical and inspection tasks across multiple types of infrastructure projects.

  • Project Overview: The TRTP was a two-phase project designed to improve the transmission infrastructure for renewable energy. This involved extensive work on transmission towers and associated structures to support the delivery of renewable energy from Tehachapi to various locations.
  • Responsibilities: Phase 1: Concrete Testing Scope: Testing of concrete used in anchoring the transmission tower legs, which were embedded 25-40 feet into the earth. Tests Conducted: Slump Test: Assessed the workability of the concrete. Temperature Check: Monitored the temperature of the concrete mix. I was responsible for a range of tasks, from observing the rehabilitation of key components like aeration basins, grit chambers, and clarifiers, to observing the construction of underground utilities. I was involved in ensuring the safety through trenching and shoring, testing concrete placement and new asphalt, and maintaining constant communication with the Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) representatives.
  • I attended weekly progress meetings and assisted with scheduling special inspections that were key to keeping the project on track and addressing any issues that arose.
