Summary

I am motivated to have a direct positive impact on my community, and I feel that I can offer a unique perspective to youth in the sciences. I have gathered experience in the trades, and group instruction experience while operating within a sensitive ecological system. Now I am completing an interdisciplinary degree in the field of Biological Physics.

Outside of my degree requirements I have tried my best to diversify my perspective on learning and teaching. In addition to my volunteer work in BC classrooms, I have taken on courses including Indigenous Perspectives on History, and History of Education in the Western World.

I aspire to provide the best learning environment possible to all my future students.

  • Instructed on wilderness survival techniques, and supported teaching in first aid instruction and casualty evacuation alongside a trained Doctor
  • Developed the course logistics (meals, navigation to- and from the Belizean rainforest, and potential volunteer activities for participants) to fit within budget and schedule
