I am looking forward to the opportunity to transpose the skills, knowledge and experience I have gained in the oil and gas industry. I’m focused on the importance of safety, communication and efficiency in the workplace. My goal is to demonstrate my effective communication, problem-solving, and time management skills I have gained in mine operations, ultimately obtaining a career as a dispatcher.

• 10 years of experience working in the oil and gas and mining industries
• Contractor oversight through the engineering department; making sure all personnel are working properly and following safety practices
• Safe interactions with various personnel such supervisors, operators and labourers

• Professional, clear and concise two-way radio communications with personnel and operations
• Autonomous haul truck department; constant communication between dispatchers and modular mining systems, operating equipment and trouble shooting autonomous haul truck issues
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, safety sensitive environment while operating and using radio communication in a safe manner
• Coordinator for heavy equipment operator breaks and switch out of heavy equipment; communicating with other dispatchers and operators
• Mentor and trainer to new hires working in the mine, including signing off on safety training, proper two-way radio communication, safety practices and procedures with heavy equipment
• Training in radio protocol and the use of The NATO phonetic radio communications alphabet
• Responsible with maintaining accurate reporting and documentation such as record keeping, log books, training documentation, inventories, cash reconciliations, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
