My grandfather is an independent worker and he would bring me along on the weekends or school breaks. We would go to his clients houses or knock on doors and clean up their yards if grass was overgrown or if the yard was looking ugly. He would pay me after a weekend or weeks worth of work.

• Removed weeds, hazards, and debris from common pathways to improve usability.
• Removed grass clippings and leaves from property using blower.
• Adjusted mower height and speed settings to accommodate different types of terrain.

I would tag along early mornings to go to shopping centers that would accept my grandfathers work. We would pick up trash and throw them in the dumpsters. Blow away leaves from trees that were in the way of the driveways and sidewalks. Cut over grown bushes and make the the entire center look neat.

My grandfather would bring me to local restaurants, tire stores, shopping centers, etc... and we would clean the windows of the businesses. From ground level windows to windows that were only accessible through ladders.
