Extensive experience in construction, with a strong foundation developed from early exposure to the industry. Successfully joined the carpenters' union apprenticeship program and graduated in 3 1/2 year's out of the 4 that was required, demonstrating commitment and goal-oriented mindset. Constructed and installed frameworks for commercial projects. Utilized hand and power tools for precise cutting and shaping of materials. Collaborated with team members to ensure project timelines were met efficiently.
Maintained clean and organized work areas to promote safety and efficiency. Assisted in training apprentices on safe tool usage and carpentry techniques. Followed OSHA and corporate safety regulations and procedures.

During this time, I had the opportunity to work with multiple teams and crews. Building concrete forms, pouring concrete, metal stud framing, and repairing walkways that were built out of wood studs. This was a great opportunity to work with the millwrights and see a different side of our trade. As my team did our work, we had the chance to see the work done by the millwrights as well.
During this time I was bridge building with a team working on repairing and adding on to the I-5 crossover. Cleaning old concrete for an overlay of new concrete. Safety was a huge practice each and every day. we also learned safety protocols to minimize risks during construction activities. Cleaned job site after work completion and disposed of debris in proper containers.
