• Position Overview:
• Responsible for the development and execution of the Canadian business transportation strategy required to support the Canadian Divisions sales and marketing strategies while ensuring the cost optimization targets of the multiple logistics networks within the Canadian division are met regionally. Manage and monitor all logistics related activities to ensure that the Company operates under full compliance with Canadian and International Logistics regulations, and within Eaton ethics guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Other functions:
• Leading logistics provider strategy development and deployment;
• • Freight payment and freight claims management,
• • Participation in network studies and lead logistics sourcing decision making for the Canadian division.
• • Maximizing supplier value contribution to achieve divisional profit plans for logistics cost out.
• • Managing Logistics spend segmented by mode and by business to achieve the key results required to meet business objectives.
• • Managing all Logistics vendor contract negotiations for the Canadian businesses to optimize inbound and outbound freight expenses.
• • Providing services that optimize Eaton internal and external material flow costs and ensure peak performance/service levels are delivered by Eaton logistics service providers.
• • Communicating to a diverse group of senior level management within and outside the corporation on logistics freight spend, logistics cost out targets and freight compliance while driving root cause and corrective action plans as required.
• • Developing, planning and managing strategic process improvements and projects across our logistics network and throughout our Canadian sites to ensure profit plan and cost out goals are met.

Position Overview :
Responsible for managing and driving consistency with all transportation carriers and purchasing functions. Individuals must have Transportation experience with mainly Domestic expertise. Must have experience with International Commerce; working with cross functional teams; assist and develop collaboration logistics solutions; conduct freight negotiations, reviews and analysis. We are looking for someone who is experienced with concept of LEAN initiatives, Management Leadership working with cross functional teams; business strategy recommendations with Company initiatives goals and experience with both business to customer and supplier to company both internationally and domestically.

Essential Responsibilities :
• Manages cost/service projects, provides cost/service impact for lane, carrier, and utilizes sourcing changes.
• Build and maintain collaborative / supportive internal and external relationships with carrier partners.
• Identify and analyze viable freight programs to meet corporate transportation needs.
• Arrange and/or verify the shipment of all freight, raw materials pick-ups, sales aides’ materials, and miscellaneous departmental freight between customers, vendors, and various Company locations
• Create periodic transportation summary reports reflecting carrier performance, issues, and solutions and conduct ongoing freight studies
• Assist in preparing freight budgets for operations and report on the performance of actual expenses to the budget and progress of current projects.
• Ensure all international freight bill activity including verifying all international freight bills for accuracy and resolve all payment or billing discrepancies with the appropriate carrier.
• Audit and approve Freight payment through third party and internal processes
• Negotiate with carriers and develop relationships to build transportation options
• Works across multiple “supplier-customer” relationships (internal and external) to develop the best approach to get results.
• Monitor carrier scorecards for performance reviews.
• Review and maintain SAP data integrity inclusive of routings and bill of material accuracy.
• Create Purchase orders from properly approved Purchase Requisitions.
• Place orders with vendors as required.
• Ensure vendors are properly created and maintained in the SAP system

Resolve invoice discrepancies from purchase orders.
• Maintain intercompany pricing conditions in SAP.
• Ensure Eaton financial & control policies are followed throughout the purchasing process.
