  • Create and drive the vision of the academy through strategic planning, operational management and effective leadership of people. Oversee 200 student-athletes, staff of 8 coaches as well as club partners and execution of contracts.
  • Responsible for academy curriculum, training sessions, execution of curriculum and periodization plan. 44 weeks, 2 mesocycles, one session a week, macrocycle broken down by the thirds of the field and topic of the week based on our style of play.
  • Lead recruitment and talent identification process for the club - deep knowledge of Southern California talent pool.
  • Management of academy staff - guide them in achieving their goals through performance management, frequent and transparent communication and conflict resolution.
  • Conference lead for managing conference and cross-conference game schedule. Southwest conference representative, lead administrator for other directors within the conference, construction of league schedule/cross conference schedule, conference meetings, responsible for Talent Identification process and running Talent ID event in the Southwest in conjunction with the Mountain West.

  • Integral in helping bring US Soccer Developmental Academy to City SC (LA Galaxy San Diego). Building and strengthening relationships with U.S Soccer, bringing on club partners to improve the girls program, strategic planning to meet and exceed standards, recruited qualified coaches, improved relationships with college coaches and improved training environment standards.
  • Responsible for preparing student-athletes for personal, academic and athletic success. Build connections with players for them to understand that this is a holistic approach. Academically uphold standards that they will have to meet and exceed at the collegiate level, physically understand what it takes to play at the next level and enlighten players to have a deeper understanding of the social pressures they are dealing with and help them navigate through this chapter of their lives.
  • Personally mentored and coached 90+ players who have gone on to play collegiate soccer at all levels, including power 5 conferences in Division 1.
  • Provided guidance for players and parents during the college recruiting process, including connecting them with additional resources to aid in their process.
  • Designed and implemented individual development plans for players. Used within the academy, also designed a template for the foundation phase within the club. It has proved to be a successful meeting with the players, identifying areas of improvement and how players can achieve the plan set forth. Graduating seniors IDP's met with their college staff to go over expectations and goals leading into their Freshman season.
