Summary

PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am diligent and hard working, and I have a passion for all aspects of small animal veterinary medicine. I am an excellent team player, as evidenced by my 5 year involvement with the UCD Veterinary Rugby Team and long-term representation of my province senior cricket team. I pride myself on my ability think critically and quickly, and to communicate effectively with team members, allowing us achieve our collective goals. I have an extremely dedicated nature and a very sociable personality, which I believe to be vitally important when working in a fast-paced referral hospital setting.

CAREER AIMS

My ultimate goal is to become a board certified ECVS diplomate in small animal surgery. Upon completion of my rotating internship, I hope to enter a discipline specific training programme where I can further my surgical knowledge and skills. I would like to expand my research from the projects I have been involved in during my rotating year, while also advancing my surgical techniques and abilities under the supervision of specialist mentors.
