Creating and teaching the Hospitality program ( Food Technology) was a valuable, exciting, fulfilling part of my life, but my passion has always been working in the restaurant industry since I was 15 yrs old. Even as a teacher, I continued to work as a server and enjoyed it tremendously. The fast-paced, social aspect of working the front of the house appeals to me more than the back of the house, but certainly both areas have their advantages. I am seeking employment since I retired at such a young age, and need to supplement my pension, still having life expenses.
I am an avid animal lover and have volunteered with organizations in the area such as ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation), Pet Friends for Life, Another Chance Wildlife rescue and I am presently the adoption coordinator for Art 4 Animals Cat rescue.
