Accomplishments

Surveying school

This course is provided by University of alberta. As a survey learner, I learned how to manipulate total station, leveling rod, and GIS system to create topographic maps on. I processed survey data using specialized software to produce topographic maps. Through this project, I developed strong technical skills in surveying equipment and software, as well as communication and teamwork skills.

Risk management Course

  • Developed a strong understanding of risk management principles, including risk assessment, risk mitigation, and risk communication.
  • Skilled in analyzing real-world scenarios and applying risk management concepts through team projects and case analysis.

Concrete lab

Conducted laboratory testing procedures for freshly mixed Portland cement concrete, including slump testing, air content testing, unit weight testing, and compressive strength testing.

Soil compaction and consolidation lab

Demonstrated proficiency in soil mechanics testing by conducting Proctor compaction tests to evaluate optimal moisture content for compaction.

Analyze the rate of the consolidation of a saturated modified Devon silt confined laterally when subjected to axial loading, along with utilizing Casagrande and Taylor curve fitting method for determining the coefficient of consolidation and analyzing data. (ASTM standard)
