§ Assume full responsibility for ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment, and patient-related items to the operating room, enabling physicians, nurses, technicians and therapists to perform their duties in an effective manner.

§ Prioritize health, enhance safety, and raise awareness to promote infection prevention and control, which resulted in becoming an IPAC Champion. Use emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and strong communication skills to thrive in high-pressure situations.

§ Provide 24/7 on-call firefighting service to the residents and visitors of the City of Hamilton and nearby areas, which includes fire suppression and prevention, technical rescue, auto extrication, hazard mitigation and control, and emergency medical response.

§ Participate in routine training and skill maintenance through weekly training, team buildings, simulations, fire drills, and on-the-job exercises. Attend community events to foster public education, engagement, and awareness focused on the firefighting industry.
