I'm excited to lead and coach youth in freestyle skiing. By mastering my own skills and earning coaching certifications, I'll ensure credibility and safety. With effective teaching, costomized plans, and positive values, I'll guide young skiers in skill development, creating an inclusive and enjoyable learning environment.
This past year Beaver valley has been making Mountain biking trails in the glades, and I have been helping out with trail finishing, feature building, putting in new trails, and I will continue with helping maintain these trails.
I have been volunteering with KW Cycling Academy for the past two years. During this time, I have assisted younger athletes in learning to mountain bike down challenging terrain, develop teamwork abilities, ensure that they are having fun, and teach safety skills.
The last four ski seasons I have been skiing with beaver valley freestyle coach's like, Luke, James, and most recently Scott. Over this time I have learned plenty of freestyle skills like, 180s all four ways, 360s all four ways, switch 540s, grinding rails, riding boxes side ways, spinning on and off rails, and lots more. I have also made many great friends. Overall its been an excellent experience .
I helped build a number of trails at The Pines in Woodstock. I would help build new trials, features, helped out with general trail maintenance, and events like the 6 hour Dairy Capital race.
My first sport I played was hockey for a team in Woodstock. I had a lot of fun there and gained a lot of useful skills over time, like teamwork, safety, and learning how to compete with a team.
