Most of my tickets have expired such as my OFA 1 as I do not need any tickets at my current place of employment, but I am planning within the next 4 months to acquire my OFA 3 and my Forklift certificate to help me achieve my goals of becoming a saw filer for your mills.

  • I work in a variety of different positions within the shop, Tool and Cutter, Saws, Surface grinders, I run almost every machine within our shop including computerized machinery.
  • Interpreting Blueprints and making the product to the customers specified order.
  • Maintained a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict safety guidelines within the saw filing room.
  • Implemented preventative maintenance of all machinery inside the shop to prolong the life of machinery and cutting tools while minimizing breakdowns during operation periods.
  • Finished projects by grinding surfaces to achieve smooth and sharp finishes and to meet within the tolerances outlined in blueprints, work orders and company quality standards.
