Overseeing mine production, drill blast and dewatering supervisors. Ensuring communication between all stakeholders, mine, mill, tailings, engineering and geotechnical departments to

ensure the mine plan is followed with safe, timely and effective results.

Overseeing and working with undergroundand surface construction and production supervisors to provide delivery of required material for crusher/plant, backfill, dumps and tailings plan requirements as directed by the mine plan. Following, guiding and compliance by our employees of our take 5 safety system and encouraging and promoting safety by example. Training of employees daily with face-to-face interaction and constructive feedback. Following our training program and working with the training department to fully engage employees.

Safe pit production and expansion. Training and mentoring crew members to operate safely and efficiently according to company standard operating procedures. Drill blast duties on back shift. Promoting Goldcorps safety values by leading by example.

Responsible for Mine Supervisors, Mine Lead Hands and Mine Training. Guiding them through the process of developing their employees through safety and training. Making them accountable not only for their own personal targets but employee development, training and safety attitude. Daily interaction with upper management and Engineering to meet or exceed mine targets and goals and working toward 100% safety compliance and zero harm.

Mine production, field maintenance direction electrical and mechanical, pit and road maintenance, pit and road development, training, endorsing and promoting safety. Back shift drill blast and dewatering duties.

Operation, coordination and control of loading and haulage units using the Wenco Mine Dispatch system to meet and exceed mine targets for safety and production. Reporting to Mine Engineering for system optimization. Working as a team with the Mine Coordinator to develop and implement the organizations safety and production goals.

Shovel and drill commissioning, Re-build planning and replacement of major machinery components Including Avtron Boards and Drives, Dc Motors, Planetary Transmissions, Armatures and Brakes for P&H machinery. Making final decisions on and over seeing warranty claims and preventative maintenance planning for our mining customers.

Operation of heavy equipment on minesite including grader, loader, dozer and haul trucks.
