My degree in Medical Sciences has given me epidemiology exposure, and I am familiar with literature reviews and research methods. I have independent research experience with my honours project. I am eager to gain clincial research experience, to use in my future career as a physician.

    Responsible for nasopharyngeal swabbing for COVID-19, charting patient information, educating the public on safety protocols
  • Junior high performance paddling coach | 2018-2020
    Coached advanced youth in canoeing and kayaking. I implemented schedules, communicated with parents, and encouraged skill development.

Volunteering

Special Olympics swimming coach | 2021- present

  • Coaching swimming to athletes with mental and physical impairments. Forming bonds with the athletes and ensuring safety and enjoyment.

Hospitality in chemotherapy unit | 2019- 2020

  • Providing snacks, beverages, and companionship to patients during their chemotherapy treatment at the hospital. Interacting with staff and cleaning.

  • Society mission was to educate and collect products related to menstrual health. As president, I organized society members, fundraisers, and created knowledge translation tools.
