  • Took on the role of Assistant Site Manager after completing my Bachelors degree in Construction Management.
  • While with Clancy Construction I was heavily involved in three successful projects. Which were the Rubrics Building Trinity College Dublin 2, Work IQ Innovation Centre Tallaght Dublin 24 and Mount Carmel Hospital Dublin 14.
  • During my time with Clancy Construction I worked my way up to a Package Manager.
  • Out on site this role involved: Maintaining/Issuing and enforcing permits, running of daily whiteboard meetings, maintaining a high standard of health & safety, relaying information to subcontractors, closing out inspection report items and snag list items.
  • The in office roles of this position included: Inductions, reviewing of RAMs, ordering of materials and chasing relevant certs, ordering and regulating maintenance checks on plant/machinery, co-running 6-week lookahead meetings.
  • During my three years I was also trusted with mentoring two student managers while on placement.

  • During these few months I was shadowing the senior site engineer.
  • The roles I was heavily involved in included: Setting out, as-built surveys, liaising with the site team and relaying information to the subcontractors, concrete cube testing and ordering materials.
