- Monitor and control the building systems through the Building Automation System (BAS). As well as physical inspections to observe, test, calibrate and report on building mechanical systems.
- Operate and maintain critical mechanical systems. (Steam Boilers, Hot water Boilers, Chillers, Generators, Cooling Towers, Air Handling Units, Water Pumps and Pneumatic Tube transfer systems)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to manage preventative maintenance, work order completion, emergency maintenance and troubleshooting urgent maintenance or repairs.
- HVAC maintenance; monitor and maintain space environment parameters such as temperatures, humidity, pressures and air flow within the facility.
- Ensuring building life safety systems (fire pumps, sprinklers, smoke detectors alarms) are maintained and operational. Respond to fire alarms, coordinate and guide the fire department within the facility. Reset and restore fire panel and devices with authorization of Fire Chief.
