  • Perform a wide variety of instrument/electrician maintenance tasks. Such as installation, preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, troubleshooting and repairing of process control and analytical equipment.
  • Installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting and repairing high and low voltage/amperage electrical components, systems, and equipment.
  • Locating problems, determining appropriate courses of action and coordinating repairs with the affected parties.
  • Fabricate and install electrical systems, components and install wiring and electrical equipment, ensuring code compliance.

  • Documenting plant conditions and events utilizing Routing Duties, Plant Turnovers, and Lab results.

  • Monitor Starlims, and RefineryEview.
  • Work in Maximo to get equipment released for day shift maintenance work.
  • Perform rule 1173 and 1176 checks.
  • Achievements/Accomplishments: Executed the following turnarounds and pit stops: Contactor outages 2023 Alky T/A 2019 3CTP 2020 Butamer.
  • Assisted with R-5821A/B, R-5822A/B, R-5823A/B Contactor outages.
  • Worked with experienced operators during the 2019 #3CTP Turnaround as a trainee prior to being qualified on the unit.
  • Worked the 2020 Butamer T/A with issuing Permits, and yellowing lining, hammer checking and assisting with the completion of the PSSR prior to Start Up.
  • Acting area C lead during the 2023 Alky Major T/A. Responsible for issuing hot work permits, confined space permits, critical lift permits, vacuum truck permits, and pressure testing fixed equipment prior to start up.
  • Helped train a new T/R-1 as part of their training.
  • Also, lead 2 operators from outside of the DPD division who were helping during the T/A.
  • Completed all FOTP training requirements.
