I have a range of hobbies and interests that may prove beneficial or applicable under various circumstances. I follow commercial aviation closely and have a fair understanding of aerodynamics, avionics, technical standards and certification, and related terminology. I am a certified RPAS (drone) pilot with a current license in Canada.  Other remotely operated vehicles interest me as well, and I have a collection of R/C cars, trucks, boats, and aircraft. I enjoy building scale models of various vehicles as well. All of this requires patience, attention to detail, and general technical knowledge. I'm very mechanically inclined and am good at troubleshooting and problem-solving, and offering solutions both short and long-term. I am able to assess solution suitability based on effectiveness, safety, and cost.
