Christos Evangelou

My experience with visual arts started at the age of 15, when out of curiosity and excitement I started to digitally process stills and 3D images in Adobe Photoshop and later 3D Studio Max. That translated into a passion for the moving image, when at age 22, during my studies at the university I took a part time job shooting video clips for hotel Spas in Greece. With the completion of my studies I decided to start a production company in my home country of Cyprus. The island is full of colours, texture and an endless supply of culture, which has been a fundamental factor in my development of an aesthetic regarding moving images. In 2011 I met a senior colorist on the island, who gracefully became my mentor for colour correction. Ever since then I didnt look back. The sense of accomplishment and contribution that I get from my work has become a way of life.

The film Beautiful Evening, Beautiful Day, was Croatia’s unanimous selection for the 2025 Academy Awards.
