Building a career in medicine has always been clear to me, as it allows me to pursue my dream of being able to help others. My time volunteering at Washington Hospital has given me the opportunity to experience this first hand. However, my passion for medicine has intertwined with my love to create and explore new ideas. The freedom to innovate that engineering provides and my passion for medicine has driven me to pursue a degree in biomedical engineering.
