In a blood collection environment, I was responsible health screening and the safe phlebotomy of whole blood collections from our donor base.

I adhered to strict processes and standardized work instructions to ensure the safe supply of blood products. Any potential quality events were immediately isolated, recorded and communicated to management.

Temporary Project Lead role in support of the development of new blood collection equipment accessories and related processes.

Coordinated with several stakeholders to implement a national directive in support of an alternate process for the use of new equipment accessories within a donor centre environment.

Facilitated project development and planning discussions with project team members, sponsors and end users.

Temporary Coordinator role providing support and coordination activities within the largest collection region in Canada in preparation for several automation enhancements within our donor centre and mobile collection environments.

Coordinated with with stakeholders throughout the supply chain to ensure all preparations were in place for the implementation of enhanced blood collection equipment and processes.

Provided phlebotomy to qualified donors with in a fast paced environment, adhering to all work instruction and Health Canada regulations ensuring a safe blood supply.
