With over 20 years of experience in the decor and events industry, I have cultivated a broad skill set and deep understanding of design, customer service, and event management. I owned and operated a successful small events company in Johannesburg, South Africa, where I was responsible for planning, designing, and executing events of various scales. This experience taught me how to meet clients’ unique needs, manage logistics seamlessly, and deliver memorable results, even under tight deadlines. My hands-on role in the business allowed me to develop strong customer service skills and a creative approach to problem-solving.

My passion for people and home decor has driven me to continually expand my expertise. In the last two years, I have dedicated myself to learning more about the technical and artistic aspects of the home decor industry, particularly in wallpaper and fabric design. Now, having relocated to Canada, I am eager to transition into the home decor retail environment, where I can bring my design background, client-centered approach, and enthusiasm for decor to a team. I am confident that this opportunity would allow me to contribute meaningfully while continuing to grow within an industry I am deeply passionate about.
