Summary

I have always had a huge passion for medicine in both the human and animal field. I initially began working in a children's camp as a staff member where I would care for and lead trail rides, taught outdoor activities to various age groups and organized a week long overnight camp for children aged 6-8yrs old every summer for 5 years. After my time at the camp I began working as a EMT then Paramedic with AHS where I cared for people from a variety of backgrounds with an assortment of health concerns. I loved my time in the human field but I decided to make a switch to the animal field as I had always had a desire to pursue my passion for animals. I have been working full time as a RVT in a busy small animal clinic for the past 3 years. I have had some experience with large animals but have mostly been a small animal care giver. Through my various careers I have gained knowledge and skills in a variety of areas. I am a hard worker, a team player, good at multitasking and keeping calm during stressful situations. I feel my experience would be of benefit and I would love the opportunity to further my knowledge and experience in the animal field.
