CHRISTINA DELLAQUILA

I am an aspiring middle school teacher with a concentration in math. I am seeking a full-time job opportunity. I am a passionate educator looking to build strong relationships and become a motivational coach to students to help them excel in their learning habits. I will collaborate with my colleagues to create engaging lesson plans, strategies, lessons, management, and modifications in order to promote a safe and positive learning environment. I thrive in a diverse and motivational community with common end goals of allowing students opportunities to grow and develop skills academically, interpersonally, and socially. I will use my leadership skills I have gained throughout my experiences in order to create professional develop opportunities, share ideas of methods and strategies, and research information in order for our district to improve and provide our students the most successful academic experience.

• Coach, Los Angeles, CA, 09/2023-03/2024- Volunteered to support students passion in sports to coach the 3rd grade girls volleyball team and the 5th grade girls basketball team, planned drills that can be practiced throughout the season to enhance their skill of the sport, built relationships with students across other grades, included social emotional skills in order to increase their positive mindset towards the sport and being part of a team
• PBIS, Schaumburg, IL, 08/2022- 06/2023- Analyzed data and set goals for students who need additional behavioral support, implemented ideas of types of support that can be practiced, collaboratively discussed celebrations in areas of improvements for students within the tier 2 group.
• 7th Grade Boys Soccer, Palatine, IL, 08/2021-10/2021- Created new drills that put an emphasis on teamwork, foot work, communication, and aim, I evaluated individual players knowledge, skills, and game strengths to be able to use my personal experience with soccer to maximize talent areas.
