Christian Meagher-Sturgeon

- Conducted big games for the campers. Every evening, a "big game" would be played. This would be played for an hour after my co and I instructed them.
- Ensured camp was run smoothly. Days before the start of each week, me and my co would collaborate on the decision for the theme of the week and prepare the schedule that the camp runs by.

- Leading discussions with the Student Council. Before the discussions, I would send out the Agenda and Minutes from the last meeting to our Council group chat. We would meet every other week at lunch, I would lead the meeting. Going through all of the committees checking in on the progress of each upcoming event.
- Actively communicated with the council. I would remind committees of their events via messenger and would update the Council of an upcoming meeting.

- Assigned to supervise children for a week. Each week, I was given a list of children (ages varied on the type of week) to counsel with one other counsellor. I was tasked to remain with these children 24/7 (with a 1 hour break).
- Used my problem solving and critical thinking skills. This would occur when the children would do something off the grid and put me in a difficult situation.
- Built relationships. Being around these kids for about 130 hours you have to build an emotional connection to each of the kids to make them "feel at home."

- Helped divide the Student Council into a set of committees. Determining who's skill set meshes with who's. These committees can include: Remembrance Day, Christmas Dinner, Teacher Appreciation Week, and etc.
- Helped with the planning of School Spirit Week. This was a week full of fun events and a lot of planning.
