Upon completing my degree at the University of Guelph Humber, specializing in Media and Communications with a focus on Public Relations, I'm well-prepared to utilize my educational background and hands-on experience to contribute to innovative campaigns that push the boundaries of industry standards.
· As a student of Guelph-Humber, we are privileged to participate in the Emerge Program. Emerge is a program that allows students to work directly with non-profit organizations.
· I had the privilege of working with NewLife Canada, a woman's home located in rural Ontario, where two others and I developed a campaign for NewLife to help them better achieve their marketing goals.
· I handled the online engagement portion of the campaign, analyzing their customer base, conducting market research, identifying industry trends, analyzing competitors, creating consumer personas etc.
· The Emerge program gave me experience that others do not have, by allowing me to work on an in-depth project that lasted 8 months, working in conjunction with two other students having to meld our separate and busy lives and work along our strengths and weaknesses to create a strong product.
