• Conduct workplace inspections and document corrective actions and follow up with superintendents and maintain compliance
• Review weekly supervisors' inspection reports and address corrective actions with sub trades
• Gather and review daily equipment inspections, conduct air quality testing and Inspect the sites guardrails and bump lines
• Install, inspect and maintain emergency items such as emergency response plans, signage, first aid kits, AED, fire extinguishers, air horns
• Maintain the emergency worker count on the man count board
• As one of the designated First Aid person onsite, provide treatment to injured workers and document accordingly

• Carpentry assistant, material handling, concrete works
• Perimeter safety fence set up and tear down, tool and material inventory, fix minor building deficiencies, traffic control, general house keeping duties and final site clean up

• Stations construction labour, excavate large excavations for footings/ piers or containment pits in low clearance electrical environments, act as dedicated observer for heavy equipment
• Prepare and compact base of excavation and assist carpenters and rodmen in forming and steel placement
• Pour, place and finish concrete, strip forms and backfill to grade
• Other duties include chain link fence and cable trench installations along with retaining walls and drains
