• Designed, fit, fabricate and weld all piping, and structural components for oil and gas drilling rigs. Built new rigs and refurbished + updated old ones.
• Took part in building rigs from scratch to full running condition.

• Erected and welded hundreds of steel structures in and around Alberta and BC.
• Pushed jobs and supervised other welders to ensure work was getting done efficiently and promptly.
• Completed work on kilns and other industrial machines during scheduled and emergency shutdowns.
• Inspected projects, identified issues that occurred and implemented corrective measures
• Chipped away debris and thick crusts of rust, slag, and other materials to ready surfaces for welding
• Used appropriate safety measures and encouraged other team members to do same in effort to avoid job site injuries
