I worked in the film industry as a special effects technician, shop foreman, set supervisor, and prep foreman. It was a 20 year career so i did various positions. Installing and maintaining gear such as hydraulic and pneumatics, custom metal fabrication, mig and stick welding, various pump systems, gear boxes, rope and blocking rigging, heavy duty rigging, stunt rigging, custom gear building for specific installs. It was a very diverse job.

Also in charge of 3-15 man crew, dealing with department heads, ordering materials, coordinating drivers and workers, in charge of set and stage locations.

Dealing with Engineers and Sub Contractors such as crane and water truck Contractors when needed
