During my journey at Coldstone Creamery, I had a variety of jobs and chores during the shift. Some of my more highlighted experiences include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming customers into the store and asking how they are—in some cases, creating friendly small talk regarding the weather or what they're in the mood for today (for example, a fruity flavor or a more classic flavor). In addition to this, once payment is. Received, I thank the customer for their time and for choosing Coldstone, and I wish them to have a great rest of their day.
- Overseeing and refilling topping containers, ice cream containers, cones, utensils, and napkins are constantly full to ensure a happy customer. Additionally, ensuring that every item within the inventory is filled, and to the appropriate capacity.
- Maintaining a clean work area, especially after a large rush of customers. Ensuring that counters are wiped clean, tables are clean, and the lobby floors are clean.
- At the beginning of the workday, ensuring that registers are filled with change, the work area is ready for customers, cakes are in the freezer, and all the toppings are ready to go.
- At the end of the workday, ensuring the floors are deck brushed or mopped, change is put away into the safe, countertops are clean, and the water faucets are off.
- Upheld high standards of productivity and quality in operations.
- Took orders, prepared meals, and collected payments.
