  • I am currently completing my M.Sc. in Microbiology and Immunology under the the supervision of Dr. Michel Tremblay at the Goodman Research Institute.
  • I am investigating the effects of inhibition of PTPN1 & PTPN2 on NK cell activity. Preliminary results show the inhibition of these phosphatases increase NK cell activity and thus, increase anti-tumor killing of NK cells.
  • I am currently designing a pooled high-content CRIPSR screen to identify genes involved in up-regulation of NK cell activity when PTPN1 & PTPN2 are inhibited.

  • Gained experience in cell culture, PCR, protein extraction, microscopy, and Bradford assays.
