Since Public Health had left and at the time there were no facilities open for teens to get Birth Control I was able to start a program where they received Birth Control, counseling,Pap Smears,STI testing, treatments for UTI's as well as STI's

I partnered with Women's Health Specialists where I also worked and we were able to collaborate care for our patients

Busy FQHC worked independently in all aspects of Family Practice

Started a School Based Health Center at San Antonio High School for the mommies and babies that went to San Antonio

Went in to the rural areas of sonoma county, into the homeless shelters, as well as the migrant farmworkers camps.

Took care of the most vulnerable population's in Sonoma County

Ran Health Fairs for these populations and taught classes on diabetes,smoking cessation, healthy eating that respected the various cultural differences through cooking classes and community conversations.

Facilitated medical care for this populations by getting them in to a clinic or for more serious diagnosis partnered with UCSF to get patients treated that had cancer.

Worked with programs Operation Access and Everywoman Counts to get procedures completed for the patients
