My husband and I have been grain farming for over 35 years. We have 3 children, to help support us and the farm I decided to go to work once the youngest was in grade 6. I started out as a crop scout in our hometown. I've always been interested in helping on the farm and thought this was the best way to do it. My boss at the time was extremely encouraging to help me along my path. I have done numerous courses in the agricultural field.
