As a second-year engineering student, I have built practical experience through collaborative projects and leadership roles that demonstrate my ability to deliver results in diverse professional settings. I co-designed a baby monitor system, integrating force and microphone sensors to enhance infant safety, where I calibrated sensors and created a technical poster, showcasing my technical design and communication skills. I also developed a technical report, synthesizing complex data into clear insights, and a handout to make technical concepts accessible, refining my ability to tailor information for varied audiences. As a mentor, I guide first-year engineering students on technical projects, fostering teamwork and problem-solving while strengthening my leadership capabilities. My competitive problem-solving experience sharpens my analytical skills, enabling me to tackle challenges efficiently. These experiences, driven by my innovative ideas, highlight my adaptability, technical proficiency, and commitment to collaboration. I am prepared to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to dynamic teams, adding value across industries through creative and practical solutions.
Work History
Baby Monitor System Designer
University Engineering Team
01.2025 - 04.2025
As a key contributor to a university engineering team, I co-designed a baby monitor system to enhance infant safety through sensor integration. My role involved calibrating force sensors to track movement via the piezoresistive effect and configuring a microphone sensor to detect sounds, triggering automated responses like bed shaking or white music. I collaborated with teammates to integrate a moisture sensor for bedwetting detection, using a Q8-USB DAQ for data acquisition in LabVIEW. I also created a technical poster to communicate our system’s functionality to a broad audience, refining it based on peer feedback for clarity and visual impact. This project, driven by my innovative ideas, strengthened my skills in system design, technical communication, and teamwork. It demonstrated my ability to deliver practical solutions under constraints, preparing me to contribute to diverse engineering projects in professional settings with creativity and precision.
