- Managed care for up to 5 pre-and post-operative clients each shift through discharge, performing such skills as administering IV antibiotics, blood products and medication administration, performing post op surgical teaching, catheterization, and post-op wound care.

3rd year 3rd Placement: January 2025 - February 2025, TBRHSC – Forensic Mental Health

- Demonstrated advanced physiological knowledge to advocate for patient safety, notably by recognizing and raising concern over a low potassium level before a water enema.
3rd year 1st Placement: October 2024 - November 2024, TBRHSC – Labour and Delivery

- Designed comprehensive, client-centered discharge plans, for example, a patient returning to their small, indigenous community, integrating knowledge of social determinants of health to mitigate risks like social isolation and substance addiction rebound.
- Utilized advanced therapeutic communication techniques (paraphrasing, open-ended questions) to establish rapport and overcome initial resistance from patients.
