Summary

I have over 25 years of hands on experience providing direct care to some of the most challenging and underserved population in San Luis Obispo County. I promoted 3 times within the county system and became a Program Supervisor in 2019.

I began my career as a licensed Psychiatric Technician in 1999 at Atascadero State Hospital before transferring to Psychiatric Health Facility at San Luis Obispo County Behavioral Health in 2005. Over the next 19 years, I was given the opportunity to work in various positions throughout the county including being assigned as the PHF Discharge Planner and often filled in behind the Social Worker. These opportunities strengthened my knowledge and experience and allowed me to utilize my case management skills to effectively problem solve difficult cases always prioritizing the clients best interest.

I have strong intrapersonal skills and take pride in my ability to build rapport with clients, families, community members, and colleagues. I posses strong communication and leadership skills and welcome challenging cases.
