One of my friends back home got me this job, and our jobs were to get a crew together for concrete curbing, and then supervise/manage the crew.

My job, other than helping make sure everyone was on task, was to trowel the curbing, color it with a powder, and then stamp it with a textured mat to make it look like natural stone.

I would also build the occasional flower box fence, etc.

• This was my first, more serious job; I had a morning shift from 4:45 AM until 7:00 AM every day, where it was just a routine milking. After my routine milking, sometimes they'd have me do more work during the day, like picking stones in the skid steer, cutting up fallen trees from around the edges of the field with the tractor and a chainsaw, cutting meat from the beef cows, helping with ammonizations, etc. Only sometimes I would have day work; though, other than that, I would have one more shift after my morning shift from 3:45 to 6:30.

• Here, we did non-destructive testing on frac equipment; my task as a rebuilder was to disassemble various pipes, valves, and swivels, and prepare them for pressure testing. I started there at 15 then worked there until I was about sixteen, but when my grades started to drop I went back and focused on school.

• I didn't work here for long, as I was about 13 or 14. This was just a little job that I started to get into work; it was with a close family friend and just a small way to start making money as a younger kid. my job there was to get coffee stock the fridge take orders etc.
