Charmane Ash

Charmane's Dayhome was created in 1997, working with Child Development Dayhome for three years and was later transitioned to being privately owned.

• Greeting parents upon arrival and providing updates on the day's events.
• Performed light housekeeping duties related to childcare such as laundry and meal preparation.
• Took Initiative in planning outings for the kids on days off from school.
• Supervised and cared for children ages Newborn to 13 years.
• Bathed and dressed babies, changed diapers and prepared bottles and feeding equipment.
• Provided a safe environment for children to explore their curiosity and creativity.
• Engaged in age-appropriate activities like reading stories, playing games, doing crafts and baking.
• Instructed children in basic hygiene practices such as bathing, brushing teeth or washing hands.
• Tailored activities based on the individual needs of each child under care.
• Administered medication when needed according to parent instructions.
• Transported children to and from school, sports activities, or other engagements when necessary.
• Helped complete homework, school projects and chores.
